The annual general meeting of the IRCGM took place on June 13, with the presence of members, employees, and partners. Thank you to everyone who attended to celebrate the year 2023-2024.<\/p>\n
Here are some important changes regarding our board of directors.<\/p>\n
The new President is Hugo Morissette, Director of Analysis and Public Affairs at NATIONAL Public Relations. A board member for seven years, the IRCGM is fortunate to benefit from his commitment, communication skills, and expertise in human resources. The entire team is very pleased with this well-deserved appointment!<\/p>\n
“Since 2017, I have had the privilege of serving on the IRCGM board of directors, and I must admit that my sense of pride continues to grow year after year. Yes, there is pride, but above all, admiration for all the individuals employed by the IRCGM who make a difference in the lives of thousands of people in Quebec every day. As the newly elected chair of the board, I will continue the work of my predecessors who have done an outstanding job. I look forward to the collaborative work that will propel the IRCGM to the forefront of community organizations. Congratulations to the entire team!” declares Hugo Morissette.<\/p>\n
Pierre Emmanuel Paradis, chair of the board for the past four years, has resigned from his position. However, he will remain engaged as the outgoing chair. The entire IRCGM team warmly thanks him for his dedication and exceptional support over the past ten years.<\/p>\n
Other changes: Val\u00e9rie Dubreuil, Director of Development and Communications at Dans la rue, becomes vice-chair. A board member since 2015, we are very pleased with her ongoing commitment to our mission. She succeeds Houssine Dridi, vice-chair and board member since 2013, who has resigned from his position. We thank him for his volunteer involvement throughout these years.<\/p>\n
Finally, the IRCGM welcomes a new board member, Maxime Allard, Director of the Volunteer Cooperation Program at the Paul G\u00e9rin-Lajoie Foundation.<\/p>\n
