The Information and Reference Center of Greater Montral (IRCGM)<\/em> is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Normandin<\/strong> as Director of 211 Greater Montr\u00e9al \u2013 Gatineau<\/strong><\/a>. This information and referral service has become an essential social safety net for more than 40,000 people who use it each year in search of help during times of vulnerability.<\/p>\n

With more than 24 years of experience in the community sector, Kim brings solid expertise in service management, psychosocial intervention, and team mobilization around strong social missions.<\/p>\n

Before joining the IRCGM<\/a>, Kim held senior management positions in key organizations within Montreal\u2019s community network. She served as Executive Director of Maison d\u2019h\u00e9bergement d\u2019Anjou<\/em>, where she oversaw a 24\/7 shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence, and led the opening of a second service point. She then became Executive Director of Action main-d\u2019\u0153uvre<\/em>, an employment support organization specializing in services for autistic individuals and people with intellectual disabilities, where she led a major organizational restructuring.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very happy to be joining the IRCGM\u2019s great team and to contribute to the development of 211, a true lever for social inclusion for people in vulnerable situations who are seeking social and community resources tailored to their needs. Our team is engaged and dynamic, which already allows me to envision new opportunities for collaboration and the implementation of innovative, accessible solutions to meet community needs. I\u2019d also like to thank our partners for their unwavering support of our mission. Together, I\u2019m confident we can achieve great things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kim\u2019s career reflects her ongoing commitment to vulnerable populations, improving access to services, and building strong partnerships. Her expertise and interpersonal skills will enable her to guide 211 in fulfilling its mission and developing projects with compassion and care. Kim Normandin holds a diploma in Special Education Techniques from C\u00e9gep du Vieux Montr\u00e9al and has completed several courses in leadership, change management, and organizational communication.<\/p>\n

The entire IRCGM team warmly welcomes Kim and wishes her much success in her new role as Director of 211 Greater Montreal \u2013 Gatineau!<\/p>\n
