The Greater Montreal Reference Centre Foundation (CRGM or Centre) is initiating, for the first time in its history, the solicitation of donations with the aim of finding support for the CRGM’s mission, to inform in order to help, and to ensure its sustainability and development. Created in 1983, the Foundation’s main goal is to actively contribute to the maintenance and development of the Centre and its services and to administer the donations and grants it receives. It can count on the valuable support of its Board of Directors.

What is the Greater Montreal Referral Centre (GRMC)?

The GRMC is a non-profit organization founded in 1956. It manages and operates the following services:

211 Greater Montreal, which aims to help citizens by informing them and referring them to community, public, and parapublic resources near them.

Drugs: Help and Referral and Gambling: Help and Referral, which work with people concerned about their drug use or gambling habits, as well as those around them.

The TeleCounseling program for problem gamblers is a free therapy service, accessible throughout Quebec by telephone or videoconference.

In 65 years, the Centre has responded to more than 3.8 million requests for assistance, across all services. Its support for citizens in vulnerable situations is unwavering, and it is thanks to a team of approximately fifty committed and passionate people that the Centre fulfills its mission.
