This year is a special one for the Information and Referral Center of Greater Montréal who turns 65!

65 years of being close to people who need resources to get them through hard times.

A lot of things have happened in 65 years! Today, IRCGM is:

• Proud to be helping people with an addiction, as well as their loved ones, via the Drugs: Help and Referral and Gambling: Help and Referral helplines for almost 30 years now.
• Supporting excessive gamblers by managing a one of kind program in Québec, the TeleCounseling Programme.
• Managing the 211 service in Greater Montréal since 2018, giving vulnerable communities information and referral towards resources and services near them that can help them find aid for food, housing, mental health issues, and much more.

65 years of history built by each person that has worked for or collaborated with the Center and to whom we are grateful. During the following weeks, many will be taking the floor, through writing or video, to talk about their involvement within IRCGM.

We can already say that we are proud of our new Website, on which you are browsing. You can read more about our mission, our history and we will regularly be publishing updates on our services.
